Brave Church is one of the fastest growing churches in the Bay Area of the last decade. We understand how easy it is to become more about preferences, care too much about what people think and let finances determine the vision. We want to help people find community, the support they need and experience the life God created them for through a relationship with Jesus. The vision of our church is to be a place where everyone feels welcome regardless of their starting point. Her passion for kids is contagious and is one of the many things that make our church such a vibrant place to be. She’s is also a gifted leader and lover of people. Pastor Marcy Laws serves as our Central Kids Pastor. In addition to our two campuses and weekly online release, we also have a pre-k through high school called Valley Christian School. He has successfully planted two churches and with the recent union of VCC (in Dublin) and Brave Church (in San Ramon) he is now responsible for championing the vision of a thriving multisite church.
His teachings are hopeful, uplifting, and always Jesus-centered. He is known for having a unique ability to communicate the message of Jesus in a helpful and inspiring way. He grew up in Northern California and is a fourth-generation pastor. Pastor Samuel Laws is a passionate leader who has been uniquely gifted and shaped for ministry here in the Bay Area. Top Interests include: Fitness…Tacos…Coffee…Leadership…Friends…and spending time with his girls. Demonstrate enthusiasm to learn about Jesus and his word.Communicate with the Kids Pastor regarding scheduling.Provide care and/or notify parents if and issue or injury occurs.Facilitate activities and games for the children.Check-in the child(ren) and ensure they are properly checked out.Create a fun and engaging space for the kids.You will change diapers as needed, hand out snacks, and have fun with the kids by playing games with them. You should be comfortable working with kids in a Christian setting. You are responsible for creating a safe and welcoming environment.
There are generally four or more Kids Care events a month. Our Kids Care team provides childcare for special events at BRAVE Church.
